Green Day – Band Rushed Off Stage at Comerica Park

Green Day’s concert in Detroit faced an unexpected interruption Wednesday night when the band abruptly left the stage during the bridge of their hit song “Longview.” As the crowd continued singing in their absence, no immediate explanation was given. A message later appeared on the video screen stating, “Show Pause. Please standby for details.”

After about 10 minutes, the band returned and resumed the performance. Following the show, Green Day took to social media to apologize, explaining that stadium security had them clear the stage due to a potential safety issue. According to Billboard, an unauthorized drone was spotted hovering near the stage, prompting security to act swiftly. The Detroit Police Department quickly resolved the situation, allowing the show to continue without further incident.
