Recently, Dave Grohl shared the exciting news that he welcomed a new baby daughter into his family. However, it’s not the child you may have seen in a viral social media post making the rounds.

A now-deleted Instagram account shared a photo of a newborn, falsely claiming that the baby was Grohl’s. The post’s caption read, “My sweet Roxie Junie Grohl, being your mama has already been the most incredible experience of my life. Every day, I fall more in love with you and this new role. Your daddy was by my side through the entire pregnancy, making sure we were both taken care of, and I’m so grateful for his love and support.”

Despite the heartwarming story, a representative for the Foo Fighters frontman confirmed that the post is fake. While Grohl may be enjoying the joys of new fatherhood, this viral story isn’t a part of it.
