Nate Yax hails from Freeland but made his round of the Great Lakes Bay Region by studying at Northwood University in Midland and currently resides in Bay City. With a few years of On-Air experience under his belt, Nate is holding down weekends on 1063 The Core. His love for music runs deep, coming from a family of musicians, he is the bassist for the band Bring Your Best. When not on the air, Nate has a hobby of collecting hobbies, whether it be music, building fishing rods, woodworking, collecting vinyl, or any other YouTube rabbit hole he falls down. He and his girlfriend are currently remodeling their home, so if he misses a shift, it's safe to assume a nail gun was involved.
